The Antidote to Breitbart

Trump laughs it up with his Russian handlers.

It's common knowledge in Washington that Donald Trump is spying for the Russians who helped to get him elected. But since he doesn't know enough about technology to actually plant bugs in the Oval Office himself, his handlers decided to drop by and give him a hand.

The thugs in the photo are Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Trump didn't allow any American photographers into the Oval Office to witness his meeting with The Two Sergeys, but the Russians brought their own photographer with them. And even though they promised the President that the photos would remain secret, the pix were published by the official Russian news agency Tass just a few hours later. Trump was furious -- but he knows who's in charge, so there wasn't anything he could do about it.

"They tricked us," a White House staffer admitted. "That's the problem with the Russians. They lie."

Intelligence officials were quick to characterize the meeting as a "security breach," pointing out that surveillance equipment could have been hidden in cameras or other electronic equipment and planted in the Oval Office. In fact, when the former Deputy Director of the CIA was asked if it was a good idea to let the Russians bring their photographer into the meeting with them, he refused to say anything other than "No, it was not."

Curiously, two days after the meeting, and in spite of the photos, the administration has still refused to acknowledge that Trump actually met with the Russian ambassador. As one source remarked, "It's pretty sad when your own government won't tell you what's going on, so you have to rely on the Russians to tell you what's happening."
